Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The ambience is quiet , air conditioned, not a lot of people. Even though the menu doesn’t have too much of varieties but the food is delicious. Recommended for a piece of mind and peaceful breakfast"
"I try to patronise places for foods with good reviews from Google Maps: high rating : above 3.6 & received many reviews. Ming Castle is one of them & it satisfied me very well : Dim Sum is fresh, hot & delicious, good Pu Er tea & price is affordable. When I asked the female captain about where to buy the tea before I made the payment at the counter. She replied with a smile and even gave me a few packages. This is what I learned before: extra mile service, service above expection or excellent services. A very important & valuable factor, especially in the food industry. It is a really good start for me in the morning, and I love Batu Pahat even more."
"My aunts brought me and my cousin to try this dim sum two weeks ago. The shop is quiet, which is totally different compared to what I imagine because usually the dim sum shop gave me an impression with a lot of people and waitresses walking around to serve the dishes. What surprised me is that they hired an OKU person, which warms my heart because the restaurant really supports the disabled person. They have various kinds of dim sum but my personal favorite is the fried carrot cake."
"Wasn’t a planned trip but was pleasantly surprised. The dim sum were decent, we especially liked the charsiew bao and shrimp cake. The “ma lai go” 馬來糕 was pretty fluffy and flavourful. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for tea break."
"A fantastic dim sum shop specializing in authentic Hong Kong fare. Their dim sum is not only delicious but also creatively presented, with adorable and intricate designs that make each dish a visual treat. The flavors are vibrant and perfectly balanced, making it a standout experience for both taste and aesthetics. This place is a must-visit for anyone who loves dim sum."
"Air conditioning dim sum restaurant in the town. Still stay as mid range restaurant after so many years. Great freshness. Recommended for weekend breakfast."
"The food arrived at our table almost immediately after we ordered our food. The food was delicious and the presentation was amazing. The place is very clean and the food was at an affordable price."
"1. Fried carrot cake must eat! Best in Malaysia that I have ever had. ( I am from ipoh). 2. Love their home made shrimp chili paste. It is fragrant and spicy. 3. Chee cheong fun texture is qq, quite special and appetising. 4. Char siew bao texture won’t “stick my throat”. I like it. 5. Porridge delicious too."
